Malgosia Bela, Bette Franke, Martha Hunt, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Arizona Muse & Tamara Weijenberg headline the campaign that "embodies the many facets of a woman’s personality: femme fatale vs. innocent ingénues, playful belles vs. nostalgic beauties."
Sensuality News and Anne of Carversville aren't know for being shy with words. But Nika Mavrody sums up the situation nicely, writing for TFS:
The campaign is set in a house I'd like to visit, and I think these are women I'd like to know. That is, this would be a house I'd like to visit and these would look like women I'd like to know if I wanted to live in an ambiguously sexual and kind of depressing love nest and be surrounded by people that often act in unnecessarily selfish and erratic ways.

Note that I have three new writers starting, so that we can stop bringing up the rear -- although I never rush to be first at blog posts, as my frustrated photographer friends know.

Monsieur Le Smoking Jacket, aka Hugh Hefner, should be very happy. 'Boardwalk Empire' star Paz de la Huerta is lensed by first class photographer Mario Sorrenti for the January/February issue of Playboy. I suspect that success of Treats! is getting under his skin. It's seriously doubtful that Playboy will ever attract the female audience enjoyed by Treats! but this editorial is a welcome edition to the magazine. I don't even know -- does Playboy still print on cheap paper or have they upgraded it?
